Private instant transfer in the browser

Fast private transfer between your devices.

ClipToss helps you move passwords, links, codes, short notes, and small files between phone, Mac, Windows, Linux, and tablet. For the small moments where AirDrop, messengers, email, or USB drives feel too heavy.

The problem is small, but it shows up constantly.

You only want to move a password from phone to Linux, a terminal command from Mac to desktop, a link from smartphone to PC, or a small image to a test device. Messengers, email, cloud drives, or USB sticks are often too much and leave traces.

What ClipToss is for

  • Passwords and access codes
  • Links and short notes
  • Terminal commands and API keys
  • small images or text files

What it is not for

  • permanent file storage
  • large backups or archives
  • bulk transfers to many recipients
  • unsafe sharing of third-party data

Multiple paths, one simple interface.

ClipToss does not depend only on QR codes. The app briefly asks about camera, network, short message, or file, then highlights QR, link, word code, QR packet, or direct mode.

QR quick transfer

Ideal when two devices are next to each other and a short text is enough.

Short address with security fragment

The visible address stays short. The private key lives behind the # and is not sent with the normal server request.

Manual word code

4 to 6 short words are ideal without a camera or long link. The browser derives the key from them.

Roomless QR packet

Very short texts can live entirely inside the QR code. An optional PIN protects the QR content, without room or upload.

Direct browser connection

After pairing, ClipToss attempts WebRTC DataChannel. Content stays encrypted; signaling only carries connection data.

Local temporary storage

Only on your current device, useful for drafts, history, or PWA comfort, not as cloud storage.

How ClipToss works, honestly.

  • Content is prepared and encrypted in the browser wherever possible.
  • The app is built for short lifetimes: send, receive, done.
  • Technical server features support pairing, expiry, and delivery, not permanent storage.
  • Accessible UI: clear text, keyboard operation, visible focus states, and responsive layouts.

Privacy as a product decision

Transfers are designed around short sessions, intentional pairing, and client-side encryption. Ads, when enabled, belong on content pages with proper consent, not in the middle of sensitive transfer moments.
