ClipToss is being refocused as a public, free, privacy-first web app for short transfers between devices.
Direction
- •No account required: The core flow should work directly in the browser.
- •No Stripe checkout: Monetization starts with search-friendly content and optional consent-based ads.
- •No permanent content database: The product is for short-lived transfer, not cloud storage.
- •Cross-platform: The target is Windows, macOS, Linux, iOS, Android, and tablets through modern browsers.
- •Multiple transfer modes: QR, private fragment links, local browser storage, and direct browser connections where possible.
Intentional limits
ClipToss is for passwords, links, commands, codes, short text, and small files. It is not a backup system, team cloud drive, or long-term clipboard history.
