ClipToss is a free browser based transfer tool for two devices.
The product focuses on direct and short lived sessions.

## Core behavior
1. Users open ClipToss on both devices.
2. Device pairing happens by QR code.
3. If QR is not practical, users open a one-time link on the other device.
4. Users share text, links, code, or small files.
5. After successful ACK, content is deleted quickly.

## Session model
- No required login in the core flow
- Session hard limit: 5 minutes
- Idle timeout: 90 seconds
- Short retention

## Scope boundaries
The visible product does not promote pricing, business tiers, public API usage, webhooks, CLI, team rooms, scheduled clips, blog, or changelog.
